Characteristics of quartz glass tubes.
Tubes can stand temperature up to 1000 °C, pressure up to 40 atmospheres; are transparent for ultra-violet radiation, are thermally steady, are good dielectrics, are steady against crystallization and dimness.

- The guaranteed working temperature (long) — 1000 °C.
- The maximal working temperature (short-term) — 1300 °C.
- Temperature of a softening — 1720 °C.
